Days 3 in Boracay

The third day in Boracay was a way fun day that we did lots of activities because the conference was over for the team and we all just got to hang out! In the morning we just had breakfast and hung out at the beach and of course played in the sand! He always wants everyone but me and Landon! Then we signed up to do a couple of activities..

 The first activity that we did was a banana boat ride! Payson of course couldn't do it so Julie offered to stay back with him and watch him so that Landon and I could go and do it with everyone else.. She had been to Boracay before and done the banana boat so she was such a sweetheart to watch him and take care of him while we were gone.. He seriously loves Julie! He took a little bit of a nap with her and then woke up and played in the sand with her.. We seriously do appreciate all of her help! So the banana ride was just a big long banana looking tube hooked onto the back of a boat and they pulled us around the water for 20 minutes to see part of the island and beach! It was way cool we loved it! I didn't get pictures because we couldn't take ourcamera in the water so that kind of stunk that we didn't get any pictures of it!:(

 

After that we went back and got Julie and Payson and decided that we wanted to do what's called island hopping.. You go on a boat ride for 3 hours and circle the whole island of Boracay and see all of the different islands that are there.. It was cool to see all the different islands that you can't see from just sitting on the beach! These pictures are when we first got on the boat and on our way to our first top!

When we first got on the boat I was putting on my life jacket and Payson was trying to play with the strings and I wasn't paying attention and I snapped his finger in the buckle! So this is him throwing a fit because it hurt so bad... I felt so so bad!

This is one of my favorite picture! I love it!

 We got to stop at a couple places to get out and snorkle! It was way cool to look down and see all of the fish that you can't see above water.. There are tons of them! We took some bread with us so that we could feed the fish! Landon got in first and Payson was so mad that his dad was in the water and he wasn't.. So we put Paysons lifejacket on him because we were in the middle of the ocean and sent him in with Landon.. Well having them both in life jackets and having Landon try to hold Payson and swim just didn't work out! It made Landon go sideways and he couldn't swim and if he wanted to move he was going to go under the water and not be able to get up.. So I got in the water to try to help him ha and it was still impossible!!

You can see how the water was pushing us under the boat! There were times we seriously thought we were going to drop Payson! Its funny how much stronger you are when you know your in charge of your baby!

 

 So we got Payson out and decided that we were going to snorkel while he was in the boat! That was cool we loved being able to see all of the fish.. It was kind of creepy at the same time seeing how many fish were really around you!  

 

Payson was so so mad that we took him out of the water and that we stayed in.. He sat with Julie for a little bit in the boat but kept trying to climb out and was crying for us to come and get him!

As you can tell he wouldn't care if he fell face first in the water he just wanted to get in..

We wanted him to get back in the water but we didn't quite know how we were going to do it without feeling like we were all going to drown! So Landon decided to take off his life jacket and hold Payson with his life jacket on! It still didn't work very well....

So then we got thinking and realized how retarded we were... We had Paysons blow up tube in the boat the whole time... So we blew it up and put him in it and he was loving life after that!! We had him swim for probably a good 10 minutes and then it was time to go... He was not happy at all to get out of the water and back into the boat!!

Once we got back on the boat we toured the island for probably another 45 minutes to look at all of the pretty scenery and islands!! Then we got off again to snorkel, play in the sand, and swim!

While we were stopped here Julie and Jeda bought something called Balut.. It is a fertilized chicken or duck embryo that is boiled in the shell and then you peel it and eat it!! It makes me sick that they eat it but they love it!! I refuse to try it even though they tell me how good it is!

Once we were done hanging out on the beach we got back on the boat and headed back to our island to end our island hopping tour! It really was so so pretty to see the whole island of Boracay.  It is not a very big island but it is worth going island hopping to at least see it once! We got some way pretty pictures and just had a good time all around!

After we got back from island hopping we just went to dinner and walked the beach a little bit and watched some entertainment! Then we went and got an ice cream cone with Jeda, then went back to the hotel to go to sleep!!:)
